Really nice atmosphere, and good food. But we’re particularly grateful to our server, Meg. As visitors from out of the country, we had trouble placing a call to line up a taxi for a ride back to our B&B. Meg lined up our taxi, and we enjoyed the rest of the evening. Above and beyond, Meg, thanks!!

We had a lovely short break at The Chain Locker. Nothing was too much trouble; we were well looked after by all the lovely staff especially Josh, Guy and Teona. The food was excellent, especially the breakfasts which set us up for the day. Our room was small but perfectly formed with three windows overlooking the harbour. Thank you one and all. We will definitely be back for a return visit

If I could give the Chain Locker more than 5 stars I would! Don’t think about it, just book a table right now. The food is outstanding, and I mean outstanding, and the service is genuine, welcoming and friendly. The best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Made my day.

Had a lovely meal here here whilst holidaying in Falmouth. Didn’t stay in a room. Menu is much better than we expected. Had the special cod dish and sea bream. Delicious fresh, healthy ingredients. Chef obviously cares. (Monday 4th May) Views are incredible from upstairs restaurant. Staff were friendly and efficient. Charlie, Barnet. Ethan and Dylan were great. Would recommend if you’re fed up of usual pub menus

Spent a lovely afternoon here with friends, the staff were delightful, friendly and welcoming.We had a great table with wonderful views of the harbour, the perfect place to spend an afternoon, we will definitely be back.

Great pub location
Great pub, friendly staff, good front of house experience. Excellent choice of ales. Went back for an early evening meal upstairs in restaurant (open from 5pm with views of harbour). Great choice of food and not expensive. Would certainly revisit when next in Falmouth.
